Land development in new capital to complete next August: Hadimuljono

Previously, President Jokowi declared that the design of Sepaku Semoi Dam and Mentawir Nursery in North Penajam Paser District, East Kalimantan, had marked the graduation of the new capital’s fundamental infrastructure enhancement.

“The (design of the) dam signifies that the progress of basic infrastructure (for the new funds Nusantara) has been started out. Upcoming July, the construction of the most important street from the Balikpapan toll highway will also start,” the president said through a visit to Sepaku Semoi Dam, in accordance to a statement issued by the Presidential Secretariat, Wednesday (June 22).

The govt is preparing to proceed with the building of the new capital in three phases.
