Pandu doesn’t make tall statements it stays true to the essence of Dada Kondke’s movies, with one sole purpose – that of entertaining the masses. And who much better to do that than two of the most nicely recognized comedians from the field?
Bhau Kadam and Kushal Badrike workforce up for this comedy, generating it the initial time for the two to be acting together on the big screen. The movie starts with the Bhau (Pandu) and Kushal (Mhadu) accomplishing at a programme in honour of politician Babasaheb Pathare (Pravin Tarde). Delighted with their effectiveness, Babasaheb fulfils their would like of accomplishing a career for livelihood and gets them inducted as Hawaldars in the Mumbai law enforcement pressure. What follows is a comedy of glitches, twists and turns, and a hatke climax.
Comedy with double indicating jokes is a tricky region. It requires to have just the right equilibrium a minimal less can make it drab, and a very little extra can make it crass. Director Viju Mane manages to strike a harmony, making you snicker with just the correct tadka.
The acting division is full of recognised names and they supply what’s predicted of them. Anyone else in location of Bhau Kadam for this role may not have strike the mark, but the ace comic nails every single punch line whilst retaining a specific amount of innocence. Kushal as Mhadu is the best companion to Bhau’s Pandu and provides an similarly superior general performance. Neither of these two overpowers each other. Sonalee appears stunning no question, and she also receives to pack a punch (basically) as Usha. The actress’s section is pivotal to Pandu’s plot. Pravin Tarde commands the screen as Babasaheb Pathare while Prajakta Mali emerges as a shock package deal in this equation as Babasaheb’s daughter.
As entertaining as Pandu’s first 50 percent is, the film loses tempo in the 2nd fifty percent. However the climax earns some brownie points, the film doesn’t make a total turnaround. There are some supporting characters included for comic aid, but doing away with some of them would not genuinely have made a lot of a distinction. Hemangi Kavi, for instance, does not have substantially to do besides creating Mhadu’s married existence, nor does Shahbaz Khan.
All reported and accomplished, Bhau Kadam and Kushal Badrike’s camaraderie is the highlight of the film. That is also what most folks would go to enjoy the film for. The two do not disappoint. The exact same are unable to be explained about the movie as a total while.
